This Week (48) I…

…celebrated having my daughter home from college.  We went to see Elf, the musical at Hanover Theater in Worcester, MA.  It was amazing!

Next, we baked pies, one apple and one pumpkin.  We set the table for Thanksgiving.

On Thursday I cooked a turkey and all the fixings too!

Then my brother and nephew came over to enjoy a meal and great conversation.

It was a Thanksgiving I was very thankful for!

The rest of the week we enjoyed a family card game of 99 and a little shopping and the Holliston Stroll.

Hope you enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving.

I loved seeing the picture of the redwork quilt. I believe that it has snowmen on it as well. I have that pattern and you may have inspired me to start working on it. I have so many UFO’s but that particular quilt I haven’t even started. I’m in your quilt guild in Keene. you do wonderful quilts and your color choices are wonderful. I have a quick question for you. Did you ever sell Longaberger Baskets? I was going through some old stuff the other day and I found a list of girls who were in my district and there is a Linda Ramrath on that list that lived in Auburn, NH. Is that you? Just wondering. I was surprised when I saw the name and felt pretty sure that it must be you. I’ll bring the list with me to the next Guild meeting. Thank you for sharing your wonderful quilts on a great blog.
